Olive Harvest was started by JJ Hawks in 2001 to form an outlet for her amazing olive tapenade inspired by the famous New Orleans style Muffoletta Sandwich spread. She named her exceptional new gift "Olive Harvest" and quickly saw the need to expand her line by adding two unique flavors of olive tapenade and a captivating olive salsa. JJ has gratefully overcome the obstacles of starting and running a successful specialty food business, and is very pleased with the daily expansion of her line in grocery chains, natural food stores, delis, gift stores, catering companies and most importantly happy customers all over the US!
In Her Own Words "Tilly was my grandmother and she loved to cook. I guess I inherited my love of cooking from my mother who got it from her mother. And that love has been handed down from one generation to the next. I have so much to be grateful for.
Hopefully I can pass the love and talent for recipes on to the next generation, and I guess I have as my son Christian is a chef and has the bug. When my children were little they used to ask me why the food tasted so good, and I would tell them that I had put Love in it. I hope you taste that same Love when you taste one of my recipes.
